Christmas at the Iron Age Village
Here in the dark north, we've been celebrating Christmas for thousands of years - even before the birth of Jesus. The traditions and content of Christmas have changed over the years - but many old customs still remain.
Look forward to magic and Christmas spirit in a historical setting
In the Christmas Village, you’ll find festive cheer and fun activities for children of all ages. Try your luck at finding the runaway pantry elves and discover the mythical creatures of Christmas – like elves, gnomes, and trolls.
The Christmas Village is open from December 6 to 19, from 10 AM to 4 PM daily. On the weekend of December 6–7, the village comes alive with extra activities and festive spirit. On weekdays, you’re free to explore at your own pace and enjoy a variety of DIY activities. Once you’ve paid the entrance fee, all activities are free.
Look forward to visiting a village full of old traditions and Christmas cheer in a historical setting.
