FDB Møbler’s design studio was founded with the ambition of creating beautiful and functional furniture that was accessible to more than just the wealthiest customers. For generations, the company has worked from the belief that good design should be practical, affordable and made to last.

The furniture is designed with a focus on function, comfort and materials that can withstand everyday use throughout different stages of life. Many of the classic designs remain popular today and continue to be part of the collection alongside newer interpretations.

Renowned designers and timeless furniture

Over the years, a wide range of designers have left their mark on FDB Møbler’s collections. Among the most notable is Børge Mogensen, while a new generation of designers continues the tradition with respect for the principles that shaped the original designs.

Materials and certifications

FDB Møbler works with a number of recognised certifications and labelling schemes. Its wooden products are made from FSC-certified timber, while its textiles carry the OEKO-TEX label. The company is also working towards having its entire product range certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
