The leaning houses
Some of the old houses from the late Middle Ages look almost as if they are about to cross the street. You can see more examples of this in the old town, where you'll find the small museum shop Kramboden and Oluf Bagers Gård.

The Charity School - historical building
The little school for poor children, which Hans Christian Andersen attended when he lived here, is in Paaskestræde. The building is half-timbered.
