At Bar Nu in central Odense, classic cocktails meet more playful flavour combinations. The sister bar of Visit was created as a place with room to experiment, surprise and challenge the familiar world of cocktails.
Cocktails with a playful twist
When Bar Nu opened in 2023, the ambition was to create a more free-spirited counterpart to its sister bar, Visit. Here, the bartenders can play with flavours and ingredients, putting new twists on cocktail traditions.
This playful approach has resulted in cocktails such as All Day After Eight with cocoa, mint, coffee liqueur and cream, and the Hubba Bubba Highball, featuring pisco, plum and raspberry vermouth among its ingredients. The cocktail menu changes, but these examples give you a good idea of the bar's enthusiasm for combining flavours in new ways.
A cocktail bar with international recognition
The creative approach has also attracted attention beyond Odense. Bar Nu received 95 out of 100 points in the Falstaff Barguide Nordics 2026, which highlights the bar's fresh, colourful takes on Scandinavian-inspired drinks.
Bar Nu scores particularly highly for its drinks, while style and service also receive excellent ratings from Falstaff.

Bar Nu is located in Skt. Gertrudsstræde, close to Ove Sprogøes Plads and Gråbrødre Torv. Settle in with a cocktail and let the bartenders challenge your usual favourites.
There is seating both indoors and on the terrace, so on warm evenings you can enjoy your cocktail outside too.
