Brunch and pastries inspired by the Mediterranean

Alongside the coffee menu, you'll find brunch dishes, pastries and light meals inspired by Mediterranean cuisine. The concept combines Danish and Spanish traditions, bringing together ingredients and flavours from different culinary cultures.

Two café owners with a shared dream

Olea was founded by Spaniard Valeria Canet Miñana and Colombian Camilo Alejandro Ibañez Betancur. They met while working together at a café in Kolding, where the idea of opening their own place first took shape. That dream eventually brought them to Odense, where they opened Olea in Pogestræde in 2026.

Their vision is to create a place where guests feel welcome and can slow down for a while. The café combines a relaxed Southern European atmosphere with the warmth and friendliness often associated with Danish café culture.
