Operation Christmas at TID – Museum for Odense
What if elves were living among us without anyone noticing? In the Christmas exhibition Operation juletid – An Exhibition in the Service of the Elves, TID – Museum for Odense invites children and adults into a world of secrets, clues and hidden missions.

Follow the trail of the elves’ secret service
The elves in Operation Christmas look just like ordinary people. They go to school, do their shopping and live in houses, but at the same time they are part of a secret organisation known as the Service. Working behind the scenes, they perform good deeds and make sure there is room for everyone.
At first glance, the exhibition looks like a cosy slice of everyday life in Denmark. But take a closer look and the secrets begin to reveal themselves. Along the way, the whole family can search for clues, crack codes and solve challenges, taking their first steps into the elves’ secret organisation.
Operation Christmas was created in collaboration between Museum Odense, Cosmo Film, FilmFyn and TV 2.
More Christmas at TID
During the first three weekends of Advent, TID also hosts a Christmas market in its historic courtyard. Here you can sample Funen-style candied apples, cast a tin soldier, decorate a candle and browse the Christmas market stalls. Admission to the Christmas market is free.
