Public transport

Odense is one of Denmark's most bike-friendly cities, with over 500 km of cycle paths and an iconic cycle bridge connecting the city centre to the harbour area. You can easily travel across the city at your own pace – sustainably and conveniently.

If you prefer public transport, Odense offers both city buses and a modern light rail system. The light rail runs from Hjallese in the south to Tarup in the northwest and is a fast and affordable way to get around. There’s also a free city centre bus that operates in the centre – perfect for short trips between shops, museums, and restaurants.

If you're arriving by car, there are excellent parking options. You can park for free at Odense P South (P Syd) and take the light rail into the city centre, or choose Odense P City, which puts you right in the heart of town. Drivers of electric cars will find charging stations throughout the city.

No matter how you choose to get around, Odense is ready to welcome you – with green solutions, great infrastructure, and a city designed to be explored.
