Does Odense have an airport?
Yes, absolutely. Just north of the city you will find the Hans Christian Andersen Airport.
Where can I rent a car?
We have several car hire companies in Odense. Please note that not alle companies listed are national, so if you need to return your rental car in a different city to where you rented it, make sure the company has an office there and allows returns in other locations.
Can I park my car near a light rail stop?
Yes, at the Parkering Odense Syd light rail stop, there are plenty of parking spaces, and in certain areas, you can park for up to three days.

Can I bring my bike on the light rail?
Yes you can - its even free. You can also bring your e-scooter, skateboard, pram, stroller and so on. Remember to hold on to your bike so it doesn't fall over.

Where is the low emission zone in Odense?
Odense is one of the cities that has a low emission zone. Within the low emission zone, diesel-powered lorries, buses, vans and cars must comply with special requirements for particle emissions. The zone is limited by Ring 2 and all approach roads are clearly signposted that you are entering or leaving the low emission zone.

What is a Rejsekort?
Rejsekort is an electronic ticketing system for travelling by bus, train, and metro. Rejsekort unites the different transport operators, travel zones, ticketing systems, and discount schemes into a common system, which makes it easier for passengers to use public transport services in Denmark.
How can I buy a ticket for the Odense Lightrail?
This easiest and cheapest way to travel with the light rail is by scanning the QR code you'll find at all stations. It leads to a payment solution that works on all newer smartphones. It's also the cheapest option at only DKK 15 per journey.

It’s really simple. Purchase your ticket through the RejseBillet app or at a FynBus ticket center. Please note that you cannot buy this ticket with cash on the bus. The day ticket costs 75 kroner per person and includes:
- Unlimited travel across Funen and Langeland using FynBus buses and the Odense Light Rail.
- Validity for the entire day of purchase, plus for trips that start before 03:59 the following morning.
- Free travel for up to two children under 12 years old on the same ticket.
- Validity on both FynBus buses and the Odense Light Rail.
