Carillon Concert on August 4 at 11:05 AM
On August 4 at 11:05 AM, it will be exactly 150 years since H.C. Andersen passed away. This special moment will be commemorated with carillon concerts across the Nordic countries, featuring a newly composed suite performed in numerous cities.
In Odense, the city's only carillon, located in Odense Cathedral, will play the suite. Three carillonneurs from Funen have collaborated to compose a unique suite consisting of ten short fantasies based on some of H.C. Andersen’s most beloved songs and hymns. In Denmark, 108 churches with carillons will have the opportunity to take part in this special tribute.
