Indoor history experiences

In the city centre, just a short walk from the old town, you can explore Denmark’s railway heritage, the ancient and modern history of Denmark—with a special focus on Funen—visit the historic general store Kramboden in Nedergade, and much more. Viking Ring Fortress Nonnebakken

Viking Castle Nonnebakken The Viking castle at Nonnebakken was one of at least five known ring castles, which King Harald Bluetooth built around 980. The others are Aggersborg at the Limfjord, Fyrkat at Hobro, Trelleborg at Slagelse, Borgring at Køge and probably Borgeby in Skåne.
