
In the footsteps of H.C. Andersen on Funen

H.C. Andersen was born in Odense but spent most of his life in Copenhagen. Still, he often stayed at the manor houses of Funen, where he was a welcome guest who delighted his hosts and their visitors with stories and conversation.
Andersen was an avid traveler who journeyed far and wide. He also returned to Odense regularly after moving to Copenhagen at the age of 14, leaving lasting impressions on the city.
