Practical information for concert visitors

Odense is an easy city to get around - especially on foot. You can walk to Odense Dyrskueplads (concert venue), see the walking routes on the map here.

Walk from Odense train station / Odense City:
If you are walking from Odense train station, you can go through the city center and along Falen to get to the concert venue. The route is approximately 3.7 km and will take about 45 minutes to walk.

Walk from Vesterbro tram station:
If you take the tram to Vesterbro, you can walk to the concert venue in about 25 minutes. The route is approximately 1.9 km.

You can easily travel with the light rail around Odense, where you can buy a ticket via the QR codes at the stations or the light rail train, or buy your ticket at www.letbanebillet.dk. 
The ticket costs DKK 15 and is valid for one hour. 

If you driving to Odense, you can park for free at Parking Odense Syd and take the tram to the city center (Stop: Albani Torv) or out towards the concert venue. See section "Are you coming to Odense by car - Find your way to parking spots here".

If you take the tram, you can get off at the following locations and walk to concert venue: 

• Odense Railway Station (app. 45 min. walk)
• Vesterbro (app. 25 min. walk)

The light rail runs every 7.5 minutes until 7pm towards Vesterbro Tram Station, then every 15 minutes thereafter.

Since it is not possible to park your car close to Dyreskuepladsen, we recommend that you park on the outskirts of the city and transport yourself via public transportation to the concert. If you choose to park close to the concert venue, you will, according to experience and likelihood, end up in a queue created by, among others, walking concertgoers.

Below, you can find an overview of possible parking options, as well as how to proceed to the concert venue.

Parking atTietgenskolen
Free parking at TiegenSkolen HHX 
Adress: Elmelundsvej 10, 5200 Odense V

If you are coming from the highway, take exit 53, Odense V, where you can drive towards the parking at Tietgenskolen via Middelfartvej. If you park here, you can walk to the Tram stop Bolbro, which leads to the stops at Vesterbro or the city center.
Alternatively, you can walk approximately 3 km to Dyreskuepladsen.

Parking at Odense Idærtsparken
Free parking close to the Tram
Adress: Højstrupvej, 5200 Odense V

From the highway, take exit 53, Odense V, and continue towards the parking area. From here, you can take the Tram from the stop Idrætsparken to the stops at Vesterbro or the city center.

Parking at Syddansk Universitet
Free parking at Syddansk Universitet.
Adress, P West: Fioniavej, 5230 Odense M
Adress, P East Campusvej, 5220 Odense SØ
Please be aware that the parking area at Cortex Park and Campuskollegiet has specific rules. Always make sure to orient yourself by reading the posted signs.

If you are coming from the highway, take exit 50, Odense SØ and drive to SDU. Since there are several parking spaces at Fioniavej, it is recommended to find a space there first.

From here, you can take the Tram from the stops Campus Odense or SDU University, heading towards the city center or the Vesterbro stop.

Parkering Odense Syd
Free parking facility right next to the Tram
Adress: Søndre Hospitalsvej 25, 5260 Hjallese

Take the highway exit 50, Odense SØ, and use the free parking facility.
From here, you can take the Tram to the city center or the Vesterbro stop. Alternatively, you can take the Tram to Hjallese station and then take the regional train to Odense Sygehus Station and walk from there to the concert entrance at Dyreskuepladsen. You can check train schedules on www.rejseplanen.dk.

It is easy to take the train to Odense, as there are several departures per hour from both Zealand and Jutland.
Check www.dsb.dk , www.arriva.dk or www.rejseplanen.dk to plan your journey.

Are you travelling from Svendborg?
You can take the regional train directly to the concert venue. Get of at the Odense Sygehus Station, which is a 15 min. walk from the concert venue. 

From Odense train station to the venue
You can get to the concert venue by bus, tram or on foot from Odense train station. See relevant information sections on this page.

If you take the bus to or around in Odense, it is possible to buy a ticket via Fynbus' webshop, use Rejsekort or buy a ticket via Fynbus' app (Apple / Android). 

If you take the bus from Odense train station, you can take the following buses, which have stops close to the concert venue: 

Bus 55-56 in the direction of Bellinge
Get off at Tietgens Allé / Sdr. Boulevard and then walk to the concert venue.
Bus 85 in the direction of Højby
Get off at OUH / J.B. Winsløws Vej and walk to the concert venue.

You can also park for free, at Parkering Odense Syd or SDU, and take the tram to Hjallese station or the city center. The tram is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

From Hjallese stration, you can take the regional train to Odense Sygehus Station, from where there is a 15 min. walk to the entrance to the concert venue.

If you are taking a taxi to the concert venue, you need to be aware that several roads will be blocked. We recommend the following places for drop off and pick up.

There will be limited parking for coaches near the concert venue. Access to the parkering spot is at the junction of Falen and Kløvermosevej.
